The Furry Community Has a Pedophile Problem

Bucks County Authorities Make Arrest In Fetish-Themed Child Predator Sex Ring

Have you seen this latest news? Can’t say I’m shocked. Three men in their 40s and 50s sexually abused a 9-year old boy. Now police believe that it is part of a pedophilia ring in the area.

I’ve said it before and I guess I’ll say it again: The Furry fandom’s “tolerance” and “acceptance” has lead to a real problem with homosexual pedophiles congregating in this community. It’s the elephant in the tearoom that nobody in this community likes talking about, but it is a problem that this community needs to collectively address or else.

I can tell you exactly how it got this way. Back in the 90s and early 2000s I started noticing a lot of this behavior from a minority of people on the various roleplay platforms. When I saw this problem, I called it out with the expectation that the vast majority of everyone would agree with me and that we would remove the problem. Boy was I wrong. Time and time again the offenders bandwagonned against me, and the social justice warriors in this “community” jumped in to scream “Homophobia!” Apparently we can’t talk about the child rapists and gay sex ‘recruiters’ in this community because doing so equates to “hating all gays.”

That is one of the big reasons I left the Furry fandom in the early 2000s (but came back to write this series). I got tired of that and other similar things. Even the ‘normal’ people in this fandom chose to turn a blind eye to this and went along with the “tolerance.”

There’s a reason these people congregate in the Furry community, and that’s because this community as a whole is nowhere near as vigilant as it needs to be. The natural ‘sheep dogs’ of this community got mobbed and run out by social justice warriors and the atheist buffoons who elected to side with the latter because they ‘hate Christians.’

Yes, this fandom has created an ideal breeding ground for hardcore pedophiles. You might not think this is reflective of the furry community in general, but actually it is, because we’ve all allowed the social justice warriors in this community to stifle honest talk of the homosexual pedophilia that is very common here. Too many atheists went along with it. Too many gay people went along with it. Many of the rest of us simply didn’t want to speak up about it.

That includes me. I got tired of being mobbed by these people. I should have stayed and kept calling it out. While the gatekeepers and moderators of the big sites have done a good job in getting rid of the ‘cub porn’ and ‘babyfur’ crap, there is only so much they can do.

Today I am browsing the Furry accounts on Twitter, the forums and the major furry sites. Nobody is talking about what police believe is a furry pedophile ring. There’s just nothing. This community has to be better. We can’t let this continue to be a safe haven for people who rape little boys. Like it or not, that is exactly what the public is going to see us as. With the way the political winds are blowing, it is just a matter of time before the average people start sharpening their pitchforks and coming after this subculture.

If that happens, we will have deserved it.

I live in Bucks County near the predator in question. I’ve met him. Worked close to his property. I believe in to each their own. If it harms none, do whatever….But this is unecseptable. A child’s life is damaged, and as a survivor, no therapy will ever fully repair.

Reading your article reads like a dissertation from a sane, level-headed man such as Benjamin Franklin would’ve penned; not a “NAZI”. Sadly, in our world, anything that doesn’t embrace adults malevolently intentionally desexing or rendering dysfunctional children through sexual abuse is polarized as “Nazi”.

No diaper scatological infantilism My Little Pony castration fetishes patroned by hairy grunting autistic manchild transgender beasts trying to be women they find sexually attractive welcomed in your community? One may as well be flying fylots, and goose-stepping across a swastika-dotted landscape as far as the insane American Left is concerned.

Do you honestly think this fandom is redeemable after these events? And how would someone in this fandom make a difference? Or is it better to join the ranks of the pitch fork sharpeners?

Good question. I think this fandom would be redeemable if it reacted properly to this tragedy by not tolerating the pedophiles, calling them out, deleting their cub porn and ‘baby fur’ crap on every site. The attitude should be “what mistake have we made?” and “what can we do for the safety of children going forward?”

Instead, the only reaction I’ve seen from most Furries is “it’s impossible to fix so don’t bother,” or “shame on the media for painting us with a broad brush.”

Furries deserve to be painted with a broad brush because 1) this community is a hazard to children and 2) this community isn’t doing anything about problem #1.

If that time comes I’m going to be joining the angry mob, and I’m going to be pointing them at the guilty culprits. This ‘fandom’ is very energetic about “rejecting” and “not welcoming” people of the wrong politics, but very laissez faire about pedophiles.

Every subculture has to operate within the basic norms and expectations of the host society. For decades the ‘furry’ community has refused to do that. With the way the political winds are now blowing I suspect the steep price this fandom has to pay is not far off.

I hope you don’t mind if I stand with you along with the angry mob. I agree with all you’ve said. I’m a bit leery on whether this fandom is redeemable though. I see no sincere concern from furries on this issue. I see comments as “this will make the fandom look bad” or “we’ll get passed this like we always do”. They don’t seem to care or understand how serious this is. This particularly hits very hard since the one just arrested hosted many furmeets out of his home, that myself and many others attended regularly. It sickens me every time I see his mugshot. I may have to step away from furry for awhile. If it’s okay with you, could I copy and paste your last response, where it may be appropriate, crediting you of course.

Yeah, absolutely, go right ahead and use my verbiage whenever and however you’d like. Any subculture has to operate within the basic norms of the host society, or it will eventually face serious reprecussions. America has been more than liberal and has sat by complacently with this “live and let live” attitude for decades. That time is coming to an end and this community, I believe, will be one of the first targets of an upset general public no longer willing to look the other way. Collective punishment is a fact of history and I believe this community is about to find out that out the hard way.
